Feb 05, 2026
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A Bad Bunny lookalike contest announced last month is set to go ahead in San Francisco's Mission District Thursday night. The event, which comes just three days before the Puerto Rican superstar will head up the Super Bowl Halftime Show, is being put on by Mission Loteria, a
community group that supports small businesses in the Mission.
"From trap vibes to tropical looks, we're calling on all Benito fans to bring the fits, the energy, and the sass," the event's web page reads.

Thursday night's contest is being held at Tacolicious, a cantina and taqueria on Valencia Street. Prizes include $100 cash, a Tacolicious gift card and "bragging rights," according to the event page.
On-site registration for the contest opens at 5 p.m. with the contest set to kick off at 5:30 p.m. Following the contest, there will be a "Bad Bunny Night takeover" inside the restaurant.
Think you've got the look?
"Just show up in your best Bad Bunny-inspired look and register for the contest when the doors open at 5 p.m.," the event page reads. "No cover, no pressure -- just pure perreo."
The contest is free to attend if you don't plan to enter.
