Apartment fire leads to closure of Lansdale Catholic High School
Feb 05, 2026
An early morning fire at a Lansdale apartment complex led to the closure, Thursday, of a Catholic high school in Montgomery County.
On Thursday morning, a fire tore through the Oakwood Gardens apartment complex, located along the 400 block of East Main Street in Lansdale.
NBC10’s SkyForce1
0 caught images of fire crews working at the property at about 7 a.m. on Thursday.
The residents of the complex were evacuated, officials said.
And, on social media, Lansdale Catholic High School announced that it would be closed for the day to be able to provide shelter for the evacuated residents.
Students, officials said, would serve a “flexible instruction day” instead of going to the school for the day.
Officials have not yet detailed the extent of damages from this incident, nor have they said if anyone was injured in the fire.
But, NBC10 is working to learn more.
