On Thursday at 12:11 a.m. an extreme cold watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from Saturday 6 p.m. until Sunday 1 p.m. for Clinton and Essex counties.The weather service adds, “Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 degrees below possible.”
