The latest barrage of dangerous nonsense that has come out of the White House has pushed this administration well beyond the limits of tolerance and respect. Undermining the security of America by attacking our NATO allies seems ample cause to undertake every legal and political initiative to re move Donald J. trump from office. His megalomaniacal, incompetent, and stupid actions, most recently regarding the threatened forceful acquisition of sovereign Greenland, have screamed out for urgent counteraction. I imagine that his lickspittle incompetent cabinet has neither the patriotism, common sense, or understanding of what is good for America to use the 25th Amendment to rid our country of the current and imminent danger that Trump has become. It is frightening, for instance, to contemplate the hand of someone so unstable on the trigger of our nuclear weaponry. It is also nearly unimaginable to contemplate the kind of catastrophic implications of his likely issuance of illegal orders to our military. The midterm elections are yet too many months away for them to restore compliance with our constitution and confidence in our national leadership anytime soon. I can express my own concerns locally and across the country to everyone within my sphere. Unfortunately I do not have access to platforms like the ones that our congressional representatives can command. Therefore, I urge every one of us to be in contact with our Washington D.C. representatives and urge them to do everything they possibly can to mobilize the rest of us and, hopefully, stimulate their Republican peers to get this country back on its constitutional tracks and relieve the agonizing anxieties shared by so many millions of our citizens. The electorate, of course, should not expect miracles but we urgently need hard evidence that everything possible, especially including impeachment, is being done to rid America of this existential menace.
