Deer Valley to offer discounted halfday lift tickets to celebrate new runs
Feb 04, 2026
Deer Valley Resort announced a special lift ticket promotion meant to celebrate its expanding terrain.
The promotion is called Record Rates for Record Runs — the current record-setting run count becomes the price of a half-day ticket.
On days when a new record for runs open is set, skie
rs pay a half-day lift ticket price equal to the number of runs currently open, whether that’s $132 for 132 runs or $202 for the full 202.
“Record Rates for Record Runs allows our guests to experience and celebrate the progression of our Expanded Excellence initiative in real time,” said Deer Valley Resort president and CEO Todd Bennett. “Each new run is a new piece of the resort’s full vision coming into view, and we look forward to giving our guests the opportunity to see it all for themselves.”
As of Wednesday, 132 ski runs are open, the most ever available at one time at Deer Valley and surpassing last winter’s record of 123, the resort said.
Mountain access for Record Rates for Record Runs begins at 12:30 p.m., with tickets available same day, walk-up only at Deer Valley ticket offices. Guests must ask the ticket office for the day’s deal.
Also as part of the Record Rates for Record Runs promotion, Deer Valley Season Pass holders and Ikon Pass holders can purchase Deer Valley’s signature Turkey Chili at a price the number of ski runs open. The price is $1.32 if 132 runs are available, for example.
The Turkey Chili offer is available daily at the Deer Valley East Village Lodge and is valid for passholders who have skied and scanned their Deer Valley Season Pass or Ikon Pass that day.
