Police in Fremont are investigating a fatal shooting, the department said Tuesday. On Tuesday at 4:19 p.m., officers responded to multiple 911 calls regarding a shooting in the area of Central Avenue and Joseph Street. Officers located one victim on the ground and rendered trauma care, but the victim later succumbed to their injuries and died. Homicide detectives are actively working this case.
