Feb 3, 2026 morning forecast with Tara Hastings INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A few pockets of snow showers this morning and into the first part of the afternoon. Temperatures remain below normal for today and throughout the next couple of days. Rollercoaster ride of temperatures with up and down read ings through the rest of the next 7 days. TODAY:  Temperatures will only climb a couple of degrees later this afternoon. Look for lots of clouds with few scattered snow showers possible. Less than an inch of accumulation expected in the metro area with an inch or two southeast of Indianapolis. Winter Weather Advisory for Bartholomew and Decatur counties until 7 p.m. Last year on this day we hit a record high temperature of 68 degrees. This year we have highs below freezing a snow pack of 7 inches and a few snow showers possible.  TONIGHT: If you were heading to the Pacers game no weather worries for you just lots of clouds in place. Temperatures will fall into the single digits in northern Indiana later on tonight with readings near 11 in Indianapolis. TOMORROW: Partly cloudy skies on Wednesday. A brighter day but a colder one too. High temperatures only around 23 degrees. We will look for the winds to be on the lighter side through much of the day. 7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST:  On Thursday look for mainly cloudy conditions with a few spotty snow showers and light snow in the northeastern part of the state. This will occur late Thursday into early on Friday morning. Highs on Thursday only in the middle twenties. On Friday temperatures will warm up to about 38 degrees. This would be the first time we will see temperatures above freezing in more than a week.
