(KRON) — A man is in custody for attempted murder after a 42-year-old woman was shot in Antioch on the 2300 block of Buchanan Road on Jan. 30, according to police. Officers with the Antioch Police Department responded to a call for multiple shots fired in the area and found evidence of a shooting . Police learned later that a woman was brought to a local hospital for a gunshot wound suffered in the shooting. Police identified 43-year-old Jonta Davenport of Oakley as the shooter in the case. Officers with the San Rafael Police Department officers found and detained Davenport until Antioch PD took him into custody.
