UNIQLO

UNIQLO, a global retailer founded in Japan, opened in Tysons Corner in November. With apparel for men, women, and children, the
brand’s signature LifeWear collection is inspired by the Japanese values of simplicity, quality, and longevity, and for a limited time, the Tysons location will also offer the UTme! linee featuring exclusive designs drawing based on the humor and joy in daily life by artist Lauren Martin. If you have gently worn UNIQLO clothing, the location’s RE.UNIQLO collection program collects customers’ used clothing and donates them to the Covenant House to help those experiencing homelessness. The store is open from 10AM to 9PM Monday through Saturday and 10AM to 7PM on Sundays.

Urban Outfitters
7101 Democracy Blvd., 1258 Montgomery Mall, Bethesda
A new Urban Outfitters location recently opened in Bethesda’s Westfield Montgomery Mall. This is the brand’s third US location to feature their latest store design, which centers a modern customer experience through things like refreshed fitting rooms, bright lighting, and flexible layouts. The location is open from 10AM to 9PM Monday through Saturday and 10AM to 7PM on Sundays.

Monos
3124 M St. NW
Georgetown has no shortage of trendy shops, and Monos, a Canadian travel and lifestyle brand, is one of the neighborhood’s newest gems. The sleek, minimalist storefront is the company’s fifth US location to open in three months, and marks the finale of Monos’ first phase of expansion in the States. Products include luggage, bags, and travel accessories for anything from day trips to month-long excursions. Shop from 11AM to 7PM Monday through Saturday and 11AM to 6PM on Sundays.

MZ Wallace
1246 Wisconsin Ave. NW
This New York-based accessories brand opened its doors in Georgetown in late November. The boutique is modeled after the brand’s flagship store, featuring floor-to-ceiling marble print, metallic silver detailing, and bright product spotlights, and offers six signature collections of purses, wallets, duffel bags, backpacks, and more. MZ Wallace is open from 10AM to 6PM Monday through Saturday and 12 to 6PM on Sundays.
Sassanova
6224G Old Dominion Dr., McLean
Fashion boutique Sassanova opened its largest US location in McLean in November. The new store includes women’s apparel, footwear, and accessories, alongside—for the brand’s first time—its menswear counterpart—Nova Man. Sassanova is open from 10AM to 6PM Monday through Saturday and 11AM to 5PM on Sundays.
Tanishq
8065 Leesburg Pike Suite 120, Tysons
In December, Tanishq, a renowned fine jewelry brand from India, opened its eighth US location in Tysons, where shoppers will find diamond, gold, and other stone jewelry for every occasion. Tanishq offers jewelry at a wide range of price points for all occasions, from day wear to an extravagant wedding. You can shop in-store from 11:30AM to 7:30PM Wednesday through Monday.
Sephora
7271 Woodmont Ave., Bethesda
The iconic beauty retailer opened its newest DC area location on Bethesda Row early this year. Sephora sells hundreds of brands alongside its private label including skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance, and nail care products. If you’re traveling soon, the store has miniature options of many of its most popular products. The Bethesda Row location is open from 10AM to 8PM Monday through Saturday and 11AM to 6PM on Sundays.

Vispring
1961 Chain Bridge Rd.,Tysons
Luxury British mattress company Vispring opened an 1,800 square-foot flagship showroom in Tysons Corner Center in January—the brand’s sixth US location. Vispring’s innovative pocket sprung mattresses are handcrafted in Plymouth, Devon, using natural materials for high-quality sleep. The DC-area showroom also features accessories such as bed frames, pillows and mattress toppers. Opening hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00AM to 9:00PM and Sundays from 11:00AM to 7:00PM.

Arielle Shoshana
313 Cameron St., Alexandria
Fragrance store Arielle Shoshana is opening a storefront in Alexandria this month. The boutique carries seven original scents, as well as scents from nearly 50 additional fragrance brands. Not sure what fragrance fits you best? The brand created a personalized quiz to help you find your signature scent. After its grand opening, you can shop in-store from 11AM to 7PM Monday through Saturday and 11AM to 5PM on Sundays.

Wellness lifestyle brand ALO will open a storefront on Bethesda Row this spring. Their apparel is designed to seamlessly transition from a fitness studio to everyday life. Shop for everything from loungewear to athletic clothing to dresses, and check out their online community with free workout classes and special offerings. Hours to be announced.
Johnnie-O
7243 Woodmont Ave., Bethesda
Johnnie-O, opening on Bethesda Row this spring, blends East Coast classics with West Coast casual to create premium lifestyle apparel for men, women, and boys. Specialty collections include the brand’s licensed NFL, NHL, MLB, and NCAA attire; and its performance line provides comfortable and timeless apparel ideal for golf. Hours to be announced.
The Kellogg Collection

Bethesda, (re)meet The Kellogg Collection: an interior design store offering custom upholstery, rugs, furniture, and home decor, opening late this winter. The storefront at Wildwood will be the company’s fifth current location, but it also marks a return to the Bethesda community after a 15-year absence.
