Fort Worth police say a stray bullet killed a woman inside her home. According to Fort Worth police, paramedics were initially called to the home in the 3400 block of Tahiti Lane just before 9 p.m. Friday about a woman falling inside the house. The woman was taken to the hospital, where medica l personnel notified police the injury was the result of a gunshot wound. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s office identified the woman as 66-year-old Magdalene Mancho. FWPD says a preliminary investigation indicates a bullet entered the home from the exterior and struck the woman while she was inside. Police said about an hour prior to the medical call there was a “shots fired” call in the area that they are investigating. Homicide detectives are now reviewing surveillance video from the area and canvassing witnesses to identify any suspects or vehicles that may be linked to the incident. No suspect is in custody.
