FPD update on Hailey Buzbee (cut down) FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — In a Sunday press conference, Fishers Police Department officials said they believe Hailey Buzbee, a missing 17-year-old girl, is dead. Investigators say the suspect, 39-year-old Tyler Thomas, of Ohio, picked Buzbee up from her h ome and drove her to Ohio. Buzbee was at Thomas’ home in Columbus, Ohio, and a short-term rental in Hocking County, Ohio. Investigators believe that Thomas and Buzbee met through online gaming. Thomas is being held at the Franklin County Jail in Columbus, Ohio, on preliminary charges of pandering obscenity and tampering with evidence.
