Chef Jason Dady and Culinara are thrilled to be hosting the ninth annual Titans of Tailgate event, happening on Sunday, Feb. 1, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at The Rock at La Cantera. This collaborative ev
ent brings together more than 30 of San Antonio’s top chefs for a high-energy celebration of food, flavor, and community—all in support of local high school culinary programs.
Chef Dady will host the ultimate grilling throwdown alongside notable San Antonio chefs, including PJ Edwards of Meadow Neighborhood Eatery, Berty Richter of Ladino, Esaul Ramos of 2M Smokehouse, Nicola Blaque of The Jerk Shack and more. The fan-favorite afternoon blends tailgate spirit with chef-driven creativity as culinary professionals compete for the title of “Titan of Tailgate.”
Representatives from six area high schools will join the professional chefs as attendees enjoy unlimited tastings, drinks and interactive experiences while voting for their favorite bite.
Titans of Tailgate was created to foster community bonds and mentor aspiring chefs, while also raising funds for the culinary programs of local San Antonio high schools, helping to fund equipment needs, prep materials and more. The partnership reflects both Chef Dady’s personal commitment to mentoring the next generation and Culinaria’s mission to foster community growth and culinary excellence throughout San Antonio.
