Video Courtesy: Chief Aubrey Jenkins Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Columbia firefighters say 24 people were displaced following a Sunday morning apartment fire. Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins tells ABC Columbia News, crews responded to the 2-alarm fire at around 1 a.m. Sunday at Bent Tree Apartments on the 1000 block of Bent Tree Rd. Chief Jenkins says no injuries were reported, however one resident had to jump off of a balcony to escape the blaze, he was uninjured. According to Jenkins, of the 16 apartments in the building 15 were occupied.
