A swimmer was rescued after getting stuck on a rock off the shoreline in San Francisco Saturday afternoon, according to the fire department. The fire department said crews responded to Baker Beach after receiving reports of a swimmer in distress. There, officials said the swimmer was found stuck on a rock off the shoreline, but they were conscious and moving. The swimmer was rescued with the help of the department’s rescue boat and the California Highway Patrol’s Helicopter H-30, authorities said. Officials said the swimmer received paramedic care on the rescue boat.
