CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning across our entire area in effect from 4 pm Friday until 7 am Sunday. Extreme Cold Warnings are in effect Saturday evening into Sunday as wind chills could fall be 0 degrees. Frost bite and hypothermia are concerns through the weekend. If you’re planning to go out, make sure all skin is covered. THREE BIG THINGS There will be a sweet spot for higher snow accumulations around Charlotte. Up to 10”+ possible. This is all snow. No ice.
