Hawaii Council seeks audit of $33M in county homeless grants

A Hawaii County Council committee has voted to send to the full council a resolution requesting the county auditor conduct an audit of the Office of Housing and Community Development’s Homeless and Housing Fund, a five-year program established in 2022 to combat homelessness.
