Approximately 1,000 activists are currently gathered outside the Idaho State Capitol as part of "ICE Out" events happening across the country. It doesn't have to be somebody who is close to me. These are people and I am a person, and it's important to be here," Martin said.High school students at the rally said while they cannot skip class every day, they are finding other ways to participate in the blackout by using school resources for education while avoiding spending money at corporations."I think we are going to go to school to use our resources but we won't be funding corporations or any big things so we're not all right helping we're actually using the resources to get educated," Preston Parker, a student protester said.Pro and anti-ICE rallies are scheduled for Saturday. ...read more read less
