Leading the market was 1935 Octavia Street, which closed as the highest-priced home sold in the Greater New Orleans area during the week of Jan. 18–24. The Uptown residence, originally built in 1975 and extensively reimagined and renovated in 2025, sold for $1.7 million. Close behind was 6462 Louis XIV Street, a new construction in Lakeview near Harrison Avenue, which sold for $1.66 million. Rounding out the top three was 125 Mabel Drive in Madisonville, a riverfront home built in 1994 along the Tchefuncta River, which sold for $1.61 million. For its 50th anniversary present, 1935 Octavia Street underwent a comprehensive reimagining and renovation – an upgrade that helped propel the Uptown New Orleans home to a $1.7 million sale on Jan. 22.
