Banners are starting to go up, and traffic signs are starting to warn drivers. Well before Super Bowl arrives at Levi’s, the Super Bowl fan experience opens at San Francisco’s Moscone Center. At Moscone Center, crews are already setting up the video walls and wall graphics for the Super Bowl 60 Fan Experience. In the area, street light banners are out, and traffic signs are a few of the signals that the NFL is about to take over the Moscone Center and several other parts of the city. The owner of The Green Door dispensary says they will be hosting a special VIP area for Seahawks and Patriots fans. He knows recreational pot is legal in Washington and Massachusetts. People who work in the area know traffic is already rough, so next week will be even more challenging. “Maybe avoid it. Or if you insist on coming down here, use public transportation. It’s super convenient. I love it,” said Alexandria Kong, who works in the neighborhood. And of course, they’re expecting big crowds.
