The City of Hampton is partnering with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a non-sponsor for the Virginia Peninsula Coastal Storm Risk Management Feasibility Study. The feasibility study examines coastal and riverine flooding in the cities of Hampton and Poquoson, Virginia. The study will focus on a reas with a history of repetitive flood damage from coastal storms, evaluating the federal interest and the feasibility of implementing nonstructural measures.
