GREENWOOD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Public Health (DPH) has confirmed there has been a winter storm-related death in the state. Officials say a 96-year-old woman in Greenwood county died of hypothermia. The Greenwood County Coroner’s office has not released the wom an’s identity.
