McVay, 40, coached the Rams against the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game, a 31-27 Seattle win, as the second-longest tenured coach in the NFL. He and the 49ers’ Kyle Shanahan started in 2017, four years after Andy Reid started with the Chiefs.
