A 60-year-old man died following a hit-and-run in Palo Alto early Sunday morning, the California Highway Patrol said. CHP said they responded to the area near the Embarcadero Road on-ramp to Highway 101 after receiving a call regarding a crash involving a pedestrian at 5:45 a.m. Officials said the pedestrian, a 60-year-old man, died, and the suspect drove away.
