Some residents throughout the Philadelphia region dealt with power outages on Sunday, Jan. 25 because of the snow storm. The winter storm is expected to move out of our region by 9 p.m. on Sunday but a major concern about ice and freezing conditions remain through the rest of the week. Here is a look at the latest numbers of outages throughout the region and what to do if you experience a loss of power. Officials say that it is always safe to assume a downed wire is still “live” and could electrocute you. Who to call if you see a downed wire: PECO: 1-800-841-4141 PSEG: 1-800-436-PSEG (7734) Atlantic City Electric: 1-800-833-7476 Delmarva Power: 1-800-898-8042 PECO reporting over 30 outages According to PECO’s website, there have been 1,123 outages so far on Sunday with 32 still remaining without power as of 9 p.m. PSEG reporting fewer than 10 outages Officials with PSEG have shared that they have 149 outages as of 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 25. Atlantic City Electric reporting a few outages As of 9 p.m., Atlantic City Electric has fewer than 5 customers have a power outage.
