CLARK COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — A man is facing burglary charges after police say he broke into a closed golf course early Friday morning and stole hand dryers from inside the facility. According to authorities, officers responded to an incident at Southwind Golf Course around 12:48 a.m. Po lice say the course was closed at the time when Jordan Damron allegedly entered the property and removed hand dryers from both the men’s and women’s restrooms. Investigators say security and flock camera footage helped identify the suspect. Officers later visited Damron’s residence, where police report they recovered the stolen items — including one hand dryer installed in a bathroom and another reportedly left nearby. Damron was taken into custody and lodged in the Clark County Detention Center, where he is charged with third-degree burglary. Police emphasized that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
