The Collin County Elections Department says they’re closing all polling locations this weekend due to winter weather. Early voting is currently underway to fill unexpired terms on the Frisco and Plano city councils. In Plano, Shun Thomas is running against Colleen Aguilar-Epstein for the Pla ce 7 seat on the City Council. In Frisco, Ann Anderson is running against Mark Piland for the Place 1 seat on the City Council. All polling locations are closed this weekend, but those who want to vote early can still do so on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 26-27. Winter weather is expected to cause trouble on North Texas roads into Monday, and the Collin County Elections Department said it will continue to monitor weather conditions and provide updates for any additional changes to the voting schedule.
