reach 2 inches an hour at times. Travel may be nearly impossible at times. The exact timing and amount of snow are still being locked down, though it appears likely to be one of the biggest storms in recent years. States of emergency are in effect.Once the precipitation moves out, dangerous cold remains through at least next week. That means whatever snow falls will stick around.
