An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt: A 42-year-old man from Maywood was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and obstructing an officer at 3:18 a.m. Jan. 18 at Long Meadow Drive and Ogden Avenue in Aurora. A 45-year-old man from New York, New York, was arrested on a charge of solicitation of a sexual act at 11:02 p.m. Jan. 18 in the 1600 block of Naperville Wheaton Road. A 30-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charge of driving too fast for conditions, failure to give information to an officer after striking an unattended vehicle or property and driving under the influence of alcohol at 10:05 p.m. Jan. 18 at West Ogden Avenue and Shandrew Drive. A 43-year-old man from Augusta was arrested on charges of driving with expired license plates and driving under the influence of alcohol at 10:41 p.m. Jan. 18 at South Washington Street and Pam Davis Drive. A 22-year-old man from Batavia was arrested on charges of disobeying a traffic control signal, speeding, transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver and driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:28 a.m. Jan. 19 at West Diehl Road and North Route 59. A 46-year-old man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested on a warrant and on a charge of attempted retail theft/exceeding $300 at 1:37 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 0 to 100 block of South Main Street. A 26-year-old woman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested on a warrant and on a charge of attempted retail theft/exceeding $300 with a prior conviction at 1:37 p.m. Jan. 19 in the 0 to 100 block of South Main Street. A 67-year-old man from Naperville was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol for the third or subsequent time, driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and transportation or possession of open alcohol by a driver at 3:12 p.m. Jan. 19 at East 75th Street and South Washington Street. ...read more read less
