Consumer sentiment is on the rise.
The University of Michigan’s latest survey shows it’s at 56.4.
That’s quite an improvement from last month’s 52.9.
The boost was seen across all Americans, regardless of income, education, or political alignment.
Analysts say people don’t seem
very concerned about recent geopolitical developments.
They could also be responding to inflation expectations, which are also at their lowest level in a year.
Consumer sentiment is now at its highest point since August.
But, it’s still 20% lower than a year ago.
