The San Jose Fire Department said it responded to two vehicles on fire at 12:14 a.m. Thursday on the 300 block of San Jose Avenue. The incident was closed at 1:09 a.m. with no injuries, authorities said. The incident came one day after police announced they were investigating a series of vehic le fires in the area of Highway 87 and West San Carlos Street.
