On Thursday at 1:58 a.m. the National Weather Service released a winter storm watch valid from Sunday 1 a.m. until Monday 7 p.m. for Northern Erie and Genesee County.The weather service adds to be ready for, “Lake effect snow and blowing snow. Additional snow accumulations 4 to 9 inches in the mos t persistent lake snows south and east of Buffalo to southwest Genesee County, with 2 to 4 inches across the rest of the area.
