A jury on Wednesday acquitted Adrian Gonzales, a former Uvalde, Texas, school police officer, on all 29 charges of child abandonment or endangerment in a verdict over his response to the shooting in 2022.Gonzales was accused of not following his training to confront an active shooter who killed 21 people in the 2022 Robb Elementary attack.Gonzales pleaded not guilty to the charges.The jury heard nine days of testimony, including from teachers at the school and parents of children who were killed.
