LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — The Kentucky Wildcats added two more pieces to their 2026 transfer portal class on Monday afternoon, bringing their total number of incoming transfers to 29. First, the Wildcats added defensive lineman Tyler Thomas from South Alabama. In two seasons with the Jagu ars, Thomas recorded 37 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. Thomas will have two years of eligibility remaining. The Wildcats also picked up wide receiver Shane Carr from Southern Utah. In two seasons with the Thunderbirds, Carr recorded 81 receptions for 1,371 yards and 10 touchdowns. Carr will have one year of eligibility remaining.
