An 18-year-old driver died and two passengers were critically injured after the driver lost control and crashed Sunday morning in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood, Chicago police said.The driver, in a white Jeep Cherokee, was traveling west in the 100 block of East Marquette Road when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into “multiple homes and property,” according to police. The vehicle also struck property in the 6600 block of South Wabash Avenue.The driver was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The passengers, a 14-year-old boy and an unidentified male, were both in critical condition and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital.Two firearms were found in the car, police said. ...read more read less
