I was a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer in Somalia and had the opportunity to experience the rich Somali culture. I had Somali work colleagues and friends as a guest in their country and back home in the United States. I am appalled to have President Donald Trump treat the Somali population in the U.S. w ith such disdain and disrespect.
