A traffic collision closed a portion of Niles Canyon Road near Fremont Saturday afternoon, according to the city’s police department. Police said a crash occurred at Palomares Road and Niles Canyon Road, closing eastbound and westbound Niles Canyon Road and causing delays. Officials added the C anyon is closed at Mission Boulevard.
