At 12:46 p.m. on Saturday, the National Weather Service released a winter storm warning valid from Monday 7 a.m. until Wednesday 4 p.m. for Southern Erie as well as Wyoming, Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties.“Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations 10 to 20 inches. Winds g usting as high as 50 mph creating blowing and drifting snow and at times white out conditions,” explains the weather service. “Expect lake snowband to oscillate with varying intensities and snowfall amounts over the area.
