Lincoln Police Cruiser (Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Jan. 17)–Just after 11 pm Friday, a victim reported his 2006 Lexus GX 470 stolen from the area of N 27th and Vine streets. Lincoln Police LT Chris Weber told KFOR News, At 12:17 a.m. an officer spotted the vehicle near NW 12th and W Bond St. When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled from police and the officer did not pursue the vehicle. A short time later, another officer came upon the vehicle after it had collided with a house near NW 4th and W Dawes. The collision was significant enough it damaged the foundation of the residence and broke a natural gas line. The driver fled on foot from the scene.
