Have you ever heard the one about the beaver who crossed the road in order to get his tree branch to the other side? We all know why the chicken crossed the road, and now a police officer in Evesham Township, New Jersey, captured the moments when a beaver used a crosswalk to accomplish his goal. “Even our local wildlife knows to use the crosswalk,” Evesham Township Police wrote in a Facebook post. In the video, the beaver is seen pulling his very large stick along with him as he crosses the street, gets onto the sidewalk and into a grassy area in front of a home.
