RICHMOND, VA. (WRIC) -- A 46-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the deadly shooting of a 41-year-old woman in Richmond in November 2025. Just after 12:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, officers with the Richmond Police Department were called to the 200 block of Ro anoke Street for a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they found 41-year-old Danielle Callahan down and unresponsive, with an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene. On Friday, Jan. 16, 2026, police said that, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Regional Task Force, they arrested and charged 46-year-old Lenza Terry, Jr., of Richmond, with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a violent felon and stalking.
