IU football arrives to team hotel in Miami MIAMI (WISH) — The Indiana Hoosiers have landed in South Florida ahead of Monday’s National Championship game against Miami. IU head coach Curt Cignetti and company arrived at the Miami International Airport around 7:45 p.m. Eastern Friday night before heading to the team hotel. The team will have two days of practice before facing off against the Hurricanes Monday night in Hard Rock Stadium. The top-seeded Hoosiers come into the game heavy favorites over the No. 10 Hurricanes after the first 15-0 season in program history. Media Day for both teams is scheduled for Saturday morning. The Sports 8 team is on the road in Miami and will have continuing coverage on air and online. The game vs. the Miami Hurricanes will start at 7:30 p.m. Monday. President Donald Trump announced Thursday he’ll be among fans at the game.
