Jan. 16 | Evening forecast with Chief Meteorologist Keith Gibson INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Next blast of arctic air is ahead this weekend into early next week. Friday night: Spotty to scattered snow showers remain possible into tonight. Locally heavier snow bursts possible. Lows in the l ow to mid 30s. Saturday: Highs will occur at midnight in the low to mid 30s with temperatures slowly dropping most of Saturday. We look to have a brief temperature rise into the afternoon hours before we resume the drop. A few snow showers will be possible with breezy winds. Sunday: Arctic air sinks in further Sunday as we start off with lows in the teens and single digit wind chills. Highs will only get into the low to mid 20s with winds staying breezy as some gusts will be 20-30 MPH at times. 7-Day Forecast: Monday and Tuesday especially look bitter with highs only in the teens to low 20s and subzero wind chills at times.
