Baffling bison I just read about the new state laws that went into effect this year and one of them made me think that maybe the governor and legislature aren’t thinking things through. Senate Bill 053 is puzzling as it sets fees for bison hunting licenses and penalties for unlawful possess ion, killing or capturing a wild bison. Just recently I saw an article about the wolves that are being brought into Colorado, I don’t think the wolves care about the law and will kill whatever they run across – bison, cattle, llamas, sheep and dogs. Does the governor or the legislature realize the result of their actions? I just don’t get it – think people!!
