There are new details about the gas explosion near Hayward that started a fire. Last month, a gas line exploded sparking fire in the community of Ashland, an unincorporate area of Alameda County. Six people were hurt, and three buildings were destroyed. A preliminary NTSB report released Th ursday revealed Alameda County Fire crews arrived within 20 minutes to respond to the call of a damaged gas line.
