The Latest: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia PD officers have charged an 18-year-old in connection with the Wednesday shooting at Spring Lake Apts. near Garners Ferry Road, say officers. Police believe there was an altercation between Darius White and the male victim just before the shooting happ ened on Wednesday, Jan. 14. White was detained on Tama Road, and questioned by investigators. Then he was arrested for attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He’s housed at the Alvin S. (WOLO)– Columbia PD officers are investigating after a shooting at a Garners Ferry Road apartment complex, say officers. The police department says shortly before 3 p.m. officers were dispatched to a shooting at Spring Lake Apts. When they arrived to the apartment complex, an injured male adult was found outside.
