(Jeff Motz/KFOR News)LINCOLN–(KFOR Jan. 14)–Governor Jim Pillen announced Wednesday his appointee to fill the District 41 seat in the Nebraska Legislature will be Fred Meyer of St. Paul. Meyer, who previously served in the Legislature, takes over the seat that was held by former Amherst Senator Dan McKeon, who resigned Tuesday.  McKeon is accused of inappropriate contact with a legislative staffer at a party last spring.
