EWING — The Ewing High boys basketball team is back in the win column. Terrance Traylor scored 16 points, including a pair of clutch free throws with 14 seconds left and the Blue Devils held off Nottingham, 56-52, in a CVC Colonial Division game at Emil Wandishin Gymnasium on Tuesday night. Ewing (8-3) snapped a mini two-game skid as it withstood a fourth-quarter challenge by the Northstars (7-3), who got as close as one after trailing by 12 earlier in the game. “Now we are going to start our winning streak and show what we are all about,” said Ewing guard Kristian Thomas, who had eight points off the bench. WW-PN 40, Steinert 39 PLAINSBORO — Jordan Hunte’s nine points led a balanced effort in which nine different players scored and the Knights (2-10) edged the Spartans (1-9) by a point to snap a 10-game skid. Thomas Ditta tallied 20 points for Steinert. Allentown 67, WW-PS 40 PRINCETON JCT. — Tyler Pusczko tallied 14 points, Ryan Doran and Frank Varricchio added 11 each and the Redbirds (5-6) got the win over the Pirates (1-11).
