Sundance Film Festival Offers Individual Tickets
Although most of the passes and packages for the 2026 Sundance Film Festival are sold out, single-film tickets go on sale for $35 to the public at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at festival.sundance.org/tickets/in-person. To purchase tickets, visit estival.
sundance.org/how-to-fest/ticketing set up a user account and click on the Tickets tab and follow the instructions. The 2026 Sundance Film Festival runs Jan. 22-Feb. 1 in person in Park City and Salt Lake City, with the at-home program available online from Jan. 29-Feb. 1. Classic Film Club: ‘Mr. Smith Goes to Washington’
The Kamas Library’s Classic Film Club presents a free screening of Frank Capra’s 1939 charmer “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington” at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Summit County Library Kamas Valley Branch, 110 N. Main St. in Kamas. Jimmy Stewart plays a naïve scoutmaster who is appointed to the U.S. Senate, discovers corruption and fights it in a legendary filibuster. Park City Walking Tour
Silver Skis, a custom guide service, offers Old Town Wanders at 1 p.m. every Thursday and 10 a.m. on Saturdays through April. Groups wander past murals and historic buildings with a local guide who is ready to share some of Park City’s history and lore. The walking tours, which are less than a mile and take between one to one-and-a-half hours, are family-friendly, free (gratuities appreciated) and meet upstairs inside Old Town Transit Center. After School Special at The Park City Library
The Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave., offers an After School Special where students in grades sixth through eighth can hang out in a safe and chill space from 3-4 p.m. every Friday. Students can chat about favorite books, play board games, get help with homework or do crafts. For information, visit parkcitylibrary.org.
Nature Walks on the Swaner Preserve
Saturday morning nature walks are held at 8:30 a.m. every Saturday at the Swaner Preserve EcoCenter. The cost is $10 per person and $5 for local residents. Lucky hikers may see an abundance of wildlife. Pre-registration is required, and registration closes at 7 a.m. the day of the hikes.
