CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A kitten found soaking wet in a thorn bush in mid-2025 has since been adopted by a loving family, officials say. On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, firefighters with Chesterfield County Fire and EMS heard meowing when they were about to return from a call. They searched fo r the source of these tiny cries and found a small orange kitten soaking wet and stuck in some thorn bushes.
