Mon evening forecast – Jan 12, 2026 INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We’re tracking more in the way of winterlike weather into midweek and this weekend. Monday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Tuesday: Warmer with increasing clouds as highs push into the upper 40s to low 50s. Stray showers are possible Tuesday night, especially for areas southwest of Indy. Wind will also be breezy with gusts up to 20-30 MPH. Wednesday: A switch to snow will take place Wednesday morning into afternoon as our next system works into our region. Then, we’ll watch out for a lake effect band for the remainder of the day that may swing down well into central Indiana and some of southern Indiana. In general, some snow rates could be locally heavy at times with potential for light accumulation. Highs in the mid to upper 30s with breezy winds. Gusts of 20-30 MPH at times. 7-Day Forecast: Some lake effect will linger into Thursday morning. We could have multiple inches of snow fall north of Indy from Wednesday into Thursday. Temperatures will be quite cold Thursday with highs only in the mid to upper 20s. Another system or two could move in Friday and again on Saturday with additional snow potential.
